This past weekend Micia Smit (Grade 12) competed in Pretoria in two prestigious pageants hosted by PageantsSA.

The first pageant was Miss Jnr Africa 2021. Contestants from all over South Africa competed and Micia received the highest score. She won the title of Jnr Queen of Africa 2021. With this title she received the African Ceremonial Hat for her year of reign, it symbolizes our African heritage and the beautiful people of Africa.

The Jnr Africa title is a working title, which means Micia is required to work in her community, doing charity work and helping the less fortunate. The second pageant was Jnr Best Model South Africa 2021, Micia placed 1st Princess.
