Waterstone College celebrates outstanding 2024 football season

The 2024 football season has been exceptional for Waterstone College, with teams across Primary and High School divisions bringing home a total of five major trophies. These performances, by players and by coaches, will make it a season to remember.

 

Primary School triumphs

The Primary School teams set a high standard with the Under 13 Boys securing victory at the Marist Brothers Linmeyer Tournament. Not to be outdone, the Under 13 Girls claimed the trophy at the Waterstone College Soccer Super Cup, showcasing outstanding teamwork and sportsmanship that made the school proud.

 

 

High School achievements

High School teams continued the success, winning three major trophies. The Under 16 Girls clinched the title at the JVW Discovery Diamond League Finals, marking an important milestone for the team. The Under 14 Boys excelled in the JBLF Discovery Knock-out Cup, and the First Team Boys capped off the season with a well-earned victory in the Waterstone College Soccer Super Cup.

 

 

Additional accomplishments

In addition to these victories, our teams achieved three second-place finishes. At the Waterstone College Soccer Super Cup, the Primary School Under 14 Boys and High School First Team Girls secured runner-up spots, with the High School First Team Girls also finishing second at the prestigious St Peters Tournament.
